With Eichel in the cup final, it brings me back to the 2015 draft drama between him and McJesus. In the end, I wonder who will have more cups…
- bloatedmosquito

McJesus isn't a playoff performer, clearly. Great regular season individual stats guy for your pool, but can't get it done in the playoffs. Eichel's first postseason? Cup Finals

Whoever gets to have a decent GM putting their team together.

Chia Pet- Ken Holland

George McPhee - Kelly McCrimmon

One of these sets are not laughed at horribly all the time.

Are you insinuating Eichel might be better than McDavid because may end up with more Cups? Pat Maroon, a three time Stanley Cup winner, has more Cups than Jaromir Jagr, Joe Sakic, Mario Lemieux and Ray Bourque, I have a hard time believing he’s better than any of those players.

I think Edmonton is really really close to winning the Cup again, they’ve got a very good team.

I’m not insinuating anything. It was a simple question regarding number of championships.

Dan Marino is my favourite football player of all time. It can be argued one of the best QBs of all time. Yet, his legacy is incomplete without a championship.

So four guys in a 53 year history? I know teams win Cups, not individual players, but (frank) me, no wonder they’ve never won a Cup!!

Drafting is everything!! I could name off 15-20 drafted Flyers players who’ve won a Cup.

I agree. Draft all you want. Without a hot goalie in the playoffs, your team ain’t doing shit.

Daly says there is no NHL investigation into the Valeri Nichushkin incident, that it was handled "appropriately" by Colorado and he is eligible to play. Police cam footage was released earlier this week.

Speaking of goalies to a goalie.

Think the Canucks draft one this year?

https://www.eliteprospect...ayer/574817/cameron-korpi

This guy in the later rounds maybe?

https://www.eliteprospect...yer/720511/quentin-miller Maybe Remparts back up? Rousseau should be moving on next season.

https://www.eliteprospect.../559031/harrison-meneghin Hurricanes goalie?

I doubt they are getting a top goalie or a smaller goalie like Milic as some would like.

- manvanfan

I would take either Seattle Goalie. Hrabal would be nice as well. But I think they draft one in the later rounds. Probably a gigantaur from some obscure country bordering Russia. Been sort of a trend with Ian Clark.

Are you (frank)in retarded? Vegas drafted Karlsson, Theodore, Marchessault, Riley Smith, Brayden McNabb, Nicolas Hague & William Carrier. Yes some of them were in an expansion draft but they drafted those guys left unprotected by other teams who deemed them expendable. They didn't sign them as free agents!!

They also drafted Krebs and Tuch who they traded to Buffalo for Jack Eichel.....and Oscar Lindberg and Erik Brannstrom who they traded to Ottawa for Mark Stone.

Nick Suzuki was also drafted by Vegas and traded to Montreal for Max Pacioretty, one they probably regret now, but whatever, they continue to use draft equity to compete now.

And if you wanna talk about past champions just look at Colorado and Tampa, who won the last three Cups. Four of Colorado's top five playoff scorers last year were drafted by them, MacKinnon, Makar, Rantanen and Landeskog.

Tampa drafted Stamkos, Kucherov, Point, Hedman, Killorn, Palat and Cirelli, that's their top seven playoff scorers. Not to mention Andrei Vasilevskiy.
