Agree Murray was very good. The game meant much more to the Sens who were well rested than it did to the Leafs. I thought the officiating was really bad. Interference and picks are just not called (except when the game is on the line against Tampa in the playoffs) Murray should have been given a penalty for knocking the net off, you know if he gets a start in the playoffs it's going to be called with the game on the line.

I'm not sold on that one being a penalty on Murray. Do I think he - and others - have knocked the net off intentionally? Of course! But I didn't think that was intentional, nor was the situation really warranting it (i.e., there had been other moments when we'd been hemmed in longer, were more tired or Ottawa looked like a more imminent threat to score) if he intended to do so. Frankly, you have goalies now who are 6'5 (like Murray) and over - and Murray has been guilty of not being hard on his post in the past, so he's likely worked on this and this is a side effect of that. That said, I think in that one game where he knocked it off 3 times, one of them sure looked suspect to me as well.
If the ref thinks it's intentional, we'll get called - you're right - but I think the solution probably lies more in digging deeper holes and securing the posts better before each period.
