I wouldn't trade Levi straight up for Reinhart right now.

Thats a Kudos to Adams.

- sabresfan69

Well, of course not. We have a dozen Sams. We desperately need Levi. If Levi is who he is supposed to be Dubas would trade Matthews for him.

Same can be said of Tage Thompson this month.
- lacaprup

OK, but to get to those 2 meaninglessness games in March, Tage helped out more in February than Olofsson did.

All of these posts speak to a phony year long narrative. Vic's two goals yesterday are simply evidence he's a streaky goal scorer. Take him off the team and the record isn't improving unless the makeup of the roster changes drastically. He's draining NOTHING from the 2022-23 Buffalo Sabres. There would not have been the two meaningful games in March without him. End of story.

And, if they didn't trade him in Jan/Feb when he could have easily gotten a servicable defenseman or a hell of a D prospect, why would they trade him now for a 3rd?

- lacaprup

If you can't see that, and believe the above, holy poop my man.

Tough to say because players will fall but I like Reinbacher over ASP. You could trade back to 25 even though these types of trades never happen and take Simashev but he looks like a bit of a project.

Simashev could be there in the second round, he looks pretty raw but I like his game.

- sabresfan69

Simashev is a LD and hopefully is there in the 2nd. If you want good RD it's Reinbacher or Pellikka

Agreed. My point is the team has failed. Not because of any one player. The build of the team is flawed and it has shown all season long.

Hey, some peope think the crap at the Albright Knox art gallary is actually worth looking at. I paid $17, spent two and a half hours in there, and asked for a refund as I left.

If we are picking top 10 no way we draft either of those. I am all for getting a defenseman but we could be picking 7-8. Someone like Benson is on the board no way in hell you are passing on him. 3rd in scoring ahead of Savoie
- sabresfan69

7-8?

That would be quite the imposion...having the 7th spot team make up 11 points in 14 games.
Possible, yes, probable, very very low.
Probably your looking at 10th as the highest spot with a far more realistic chance.

Here's the other narrative:

Olofsson sucks, so what if he scores 30 goals this season.

Guys absolutely terrible, soft and does nothing.

And

We should get a 1st and a pick or prospect for him. πŸ˜€

It's mind-numbing. Adams was praised up and down for the contract, as it was called a good value and highly tradeable. Nope, he should be scratched for guys without half his goals.

This definitely needs further explanation?

Were you lost for the entire 2.5 hours?

That's like eating your whole dinner and complaining it wanst very good?

I tried. I really tried to enjoy the work.

Jackson Pollock is worthless, talentless crap. I agree with Kurt Vonnegat and Robert Heinlein.

Lol, wasn't expecting that one...I'm not a huge fan of modern art myself...Ben years since I've been there.

You should come down to Sarasota outside of the oppressive summer month period and visit the Ringling Museam exhibit. All his collection I think only rivaled by The Vatican (exaggeration for sure). The quality and volume isfrigg8n amazing.

John Ringling's house, The Ca'dzan is pretty cool too
https://www.ringling.org/ca-dzan

Could spend a couple days there for sure.

They do not give refunds at the AKG. I was younger then and not so cantankerous. I did not press the issue.

Big part of the praise was that it was a short term deal that couldn't completely blow up in his face.

Fact:
The games he was scratched were some of his best net-impactful games.
