He was good in 19-20 and alrite in 21-22.

He's fine. I'd take a shot on him for some moderate assets.

- TheSabresTaco

I'd like the team to finally try and go for more than fine when adding a player from outside the organization.

yeah we'll see what happens with him. they'd probably much rather sign him to an ato considering if they go all the way, he'd be able to play no more than 4 games for the Sabres in the regular season. but of course they may be forced to burn the year.

So it's 2024-25 Season Give me your Roster purely on Draft Picks or current roster players:
Skinner Tage Tuch
Kulich Cozens Quinn
JJ Krebs Savoie
Nadeau Jost Rousek
Ostlund has 2yrs left on his contract, I would expect him at 3C and drop Krebs to 4C at the proper time

Samuelsson Dahlin Goalies: Levi, UPL
Power Reinbacher
Johnson Joker

- Buff36

Keep in mind Ostlund doesn't have to stay for his full contract. Early in the year, heard the plan was to stay for next year and then come over. Might still be the case. Wouldn't surprise me at all if he came over for next season. Staying for 2 more, 3 after they drafted him, would surprise me.

I really hope he's not washed. It could just be the fact that he was essentially playing in a full body cast, but December/January started to look like the beginning of the end for him.

Bad elbow, messed up ribs/lungs, hurt his knee, he wasn't practicing

He was an athletic trainers nightmare, or wet dream depending on which way you look at it

I know there's a lot of variables, but I still come back to the fact that of the past 3 seasons, the one they had the most playoff success was their weakest defensive season statistically (2020). Load up on offense, O-Line and skill guys please.

Where’s Fitz to tell me how wrong I was about him being a problem?

Beane is still going to either draft a WR high, or go sign one to move Davis to WR3...

That being said, it's hard to not like the guy

Don Granato said there will be a few lineup changes, but he’s not showing his hand this morning. We’ll find out during warmups.

Peterka, Jost and Clague are still on the ice working with Matt Ellis.

Ummm if Jost and JJ are sitting I will not be happy

It’s an interesting situation.

They obviously have to add a WR.

Are they drafting a slot guy like Flowers or Addison round 1, or is Shakir going to get the opportunity for that role full time? Do they view Davis as WR2?

Harty is an interesting piece. Seems odd to give 5 mil to someone who might play 10-15 snaps a game

I may be incorrect here, but it sounds like you are ridiculing Adams' decision.

I would hope it would be viewed as this GM made one of the best decisions in the league in years...using an analytical approach with a solid projection model.
All things we want in a GM.

That's crazy. Would say they might be hurt, but probably not if they are taking extra practice.

You don't really think a deal like that is a good idea?

At least I hope you don't.

Provorov is mediocre at best, and he might actually be bad.

- kingcong39

Do analytics help form this opinion on provorov?

Mediocre at best, might actually be bad?

Guys pretty durable and averages 30 points a year?
Almost hit 20 goals one season right?

What's very good?

Flyers fan buddy was asking me if I'd do hart and provorov for 1st. savoie, quinn? and another poop picks or something?

Not sure I'd say no. I don't think KA would say yes, but I might if you catch me on the right night. Maybe I'd try and wiggle into ostlund from either savoie or quinn but I think it addresses our needs and theirs from a position of strength of ours. Would probably also not want to give up this years first if possible and if there was a way to get konecny in there I'd be pleased with that. Potentially giving up this years first if he was added.

- JCSabs06

I'm not sure it would be the worst trade in our history, but it would rank up there. I am not sure I'd give up a third of that for them.

You make a good point but wouldn't you rather have the cheaper player who will likely pass that player in 2 years .

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

You're not seriously trying to suggest Savoie is better than Meier in two years. It boggles the mind that anyone would suggest this.
If this is any inkling as to how the team evaluates players no wonder the GM is happy with the goaltending situation.
