What kind of a weirdo puts together a search to find something like that?

Seeing as you've pasted that one no less than 3 times in the past, I'm going to assume you have it bookmarked.

Right. Sister in law co-worker got sick this morning and can't make it. Couldn't find anyone else to go. So me and bro in law going.

lower bowl 9 rows up. Should be a good match up vs the Wild

- manvanfan

I like the Wild but I guess that is the price you need to pay to endure watching the Jets.

Just bugging ya.

For the month leading up to the draft Donna was Newhook, Newhook, Newhook everyday. Day of the draft Zegras.

Looks like I wanted Boldy when Zegras was gone. If only

What does that even mean? Fans have b!tched and moaned for years about the Canucks letting pending UFA’s walk for nothing and then they trade one for two good players and a decent prospect and now it’s an issue. The Canucks fans are idiots, full stop. Considering the team is not allowed to or chooses not to rebuild it was a good trade.

Glass is starting to look something like all the Strome's did. Just take a bit longer to figure it out.

The lack of intelligence in Canucks front office over the years to draft, develop, sign centers really catching up. Need to take a flyer on a lot just to catch up.

- manvanfan

The most important intangibles for a C is intelligence & awareness. That goes for all over the ice. It’s very difficult to scout that & just not all about points. Every elite top C either has it or learns it to hit the pinnacle. Terms like learn to be a pro or work on their game to get better is exactly that. The skill set goes without saying. Any C that has or learns the 1st 2 will do well & last a long time. Not every Jr high scoring C morphs into an NHL top C for reasons such as that. They either take time to develop it or fall down the rankings or outright bust.

Bergeron is an example. ROR & Carbonneau Lemaire another. The list is not long & not every C is cut out for it nor savvy to get there.

Only the rare of rare can be great & onto the HOF like Gretzky Lemieux McD etc with pure skill that transcends all the rest.

In a trial, a Southern small-town prosecuting attorney called his first witness, a grandmotherly, elderly woman to the stand. He approached her and asked, 'Mrs. Jones, do you know me?' She responded, 'Why, yes, I do know you, Mr. Williams. I've known you since you were a boy, and frankly, you've been a big disappointment to me. You lie, you cheat on your wife, and you manipulate people and talk about them behind their backs. You think you're a big shot when you haven't the brains to realize you'll never amount to anything more than a two-bit paper pusher. Yes, I know you.'
The lawyer was stunned. Not knowing what else to do, he pointed across the room and asked, 'Mrs. Jones, do you know the defense attorney?'
She again replied, 'Why yes, I do. I've known Mr. Bradley since he was a youngster, too. He's lazy, bigoted, and he has a drinking problem. He can't build a normal relationship with anyone, and his law practice is one of the worst in the entire state. Not to mention he cheated on his wife with three different women. One of them was your wife. Yes, I know him.'
The defense attorney nearly died.
The judge asked both counselors to approach the bench and, in a very quiet voice, said,
'If either of you idiots asks her if she knows me, I'll send you both to the electric chair...!!

You can hit the archives all you want; I know exactly what I said about the kid. I pointed out that he was better than the current roster and will become a good player and you guys took it that he will be the next OV.

But I do love the thinking of the fanbase. Everyone wants draft picks and trade this guy and that guy so we can get picks and then we want to trade our young drafted players after two years.

Podz is exactly what this team needs. I think he is one of the best at puck retrieval on the team next to Petey. In case you guys haven't figured out yet you need the puck to score. I know that is very obvious but some of you guys are not the sharpest pencil.

I see Tochett had him out in OT the other night and even on PP1 for a very little bit.

This kid will be good. Not great but good. Absolutely something the Canucks needed. I think find him a good center and him and Kravstov will soon be a fun line.

- VANTEL

The C runs & drives his line. A C like Sutter was an offensive black hole that he alone stymied a line. Wingers are not to drive a line. Those are rare talents & folly to design any line that way. Bo could score & win FO’s but it ended there. He didn’t distribute the biscuit & make his wingers feed off of him.

Brock in the middle. He needs a full two minutes to release.

I know I am probably the only one but I like Garland. I mostly see the puck in the other teams zone when he is on the ice and more scoring chances. Brock is the one that needs to go.

- VANTEL

I like both Garland & Boeser for varying reasons.

Garland for zone entry & skating. Has a muffin of a shot. If he’s not buzzing every shift & puck retrieval he’s gotta go.

Boeser has to snipe & be lethal. Make smart plays & not be trailing the play ALL THE TIME. That is a skinny line & makes him very expendable. Cannot always play him top line TOI just to get the most outta him. He earns it only & that bumps players that are all around better down the lines. He also is expendable if not 30g 70pts.

Grew up on them from 6 since the WHL. Lots of fun through the goods & bads. It’s hockey & entertainment after all. I have an indomitable force mentality on many things & try to use it as a strength on the outlook on life & it’s challenges.
