I remember how much poop people talked about Matthews on here(they don’t say poop now). I imagine it will be the same when and if they win a round or two. I want a cup in Canada just enough to see the insanity of Toronto winning.

JR from 2014 to 2021 has had two first round picks only. Kapanen in 2014 was traded and acquired again by JR for another first round pick. The other selection was Samuel Poulin in 2019. He has a terrible record with first round picks. - VANTEL
True but Pitt wasn’t us & PA is the GM now. We’ll see if PA is just a younger JR or his own GM.
Don’t know much about Hronek, but it makes me wonder why Stevie Y would trade a 25 year old right shot D when he’s trying to put together a team to win. I get all the hype in here because of lack of top 4 D, but still Detroit traded him when they’re in the same boat. - K-man25

Ya but one has to wonder if he can take a big hit anymore after getting his bell rung like that. That hit showed on the Richter Scale... first thing he did was hold his bleeding head... I'm a little concerned and wonder if Yzerman was as well...

he will be here in a week or so. They said he is week to week. I am thinking he had a TDL injury like JTM.

Yeah my Leaf buddies that took me to the game didn't seem too optimistic about any sort of playoff run. Just a soft, soft team. They had no answer for the Canucks physicality last night. Which is pretty pathetic really.

You mean Canucks medical staff that are under scrutiny right now over Pearson's injury. What ever happened to their in house inquiry over that anyways? Just quietly swept under the carpet....

Ya, I just found the injury reports on him... I'm mistaken on his injury... he returned from the hit and was injured in practice recently with "upper body".
Hope it's not related but I am not as worried now obviously. All along I thought he was out from that hit.

I’m wondering if there is some sort of caveat attached to Hronek if his concussion deems it so or is it a more recent other injury?
Not very minor... he's not day to day... he's month to month.
