Yup.
Coaches love these type players.

I found it very telling that Granato was pretty pissed about the “kicked” goal last week that turned into the GWG, and still took the time to say that everyone in that organization thought Fasching is a fantastic guy. Also said he was like an All-State soccer player in high school but I digress

This is no Count Staple, but this is pretty darn good.

I think someone posted a picture of Staple and I said he looked like Count Dracula and you ran with it. It was during Garth’s time as GM and we felt Staple was giving Garth an easy time of it.

Fasching has been a shining example of a guy with no particularly strong skillset just busting his ass and playing a simple, hard-working game to stick around in the NHL.

He's been absolutely fantastic this year and I hope he gets re-signed on a multi-year deal

His skating stands out as a good skill set. Especially for a guy his size.

The Habs vs. the Cats. 6 goals scored (3 each) in the first 8 1/2 minutes of the first period???!!!

Bobrovsky has given up 3 goals on 3 shots on goal. And now Florida has just gone up 4 - 3 with the first period not even half over.

I saw that. The Habs might want to play a little defense.

8 goals on 13 shots.
How do you not pull a goalie when he's given up five goals in just over half a period?

Well at least the other games are going our way. Rangers have to beat the penguins at some point. Hopefully.
