I keep hearing if Dubois does not sign an extension with WPG this summer, they will move him. Question is, does MTL want to get in and have a chance to sign him or gamble he hits the market the summer after as a UFA. Whoever trades for him this summer will most likely sign him as part of the deal.

I would let Dach grow in that role and see what happens first.

Dubois would not be the first player using mtl to get a better deal elsewhere.
