A quick one on the Kid Line for #NYR

In the playoffs last year as one of the three main lines (>100 TOI at 5v5), their xGF/60 was 3.25 (very good).

So far this year, not including last night, it was 2.3. Last night they put up a 3.35, increasing it on the season to 2.38. (1/2)

They've played 14 games together with >8 TOI at 5v5 (aka more than just a few shifts or a period) and last night was their 3rd-highest xGF/60 and only 5th above NHL average in that.

They key is that they allow NYR forward depth to be more unlocked if they're generating. (2/2)
