Big Game tonight. Why is it a big game? Because it’s the next game. I saw the movie and know the ending. How the West Was Won.

AM34 injured and will miss ASG. I wonder if they ask Dahlin to replace him.
- lacaprup

They already replaced him with Barkov

If my calculations are correct (they always are), RW’s from Sabres and Kings tonight and Sabres bump Pens out of final Playoff spot. Kings comin in HOT

Edit: F me, I messed it up. Need a Sharks RW. We’ll see where Timo’s allegiance lies.

5 Atlantic playoff teams

Idk if Panthers will be any real threat this season. They are their own worst enemy many nights. They’ve pissed away so many winnable games already this year. I guess they can get on a crazy roll with the home-heavy remaining schedule, but this isn’t last year’s Panthers... Q’s team is gone, now we have Mo’s Panters

“Kids” I am not giving up for Timo Meir

JJ
Quinn
Kulich
Savoie
Crusty Krebs

The homie offer from last night I would do

And just an fyi Adams / company think Jj is going to be almost a super Star. They think the sky is the limit for that guy. They won’t ever trade him

I understand but this is the exact same thing fans said when the Sabres were trying to trade Eichel.

In a perfect world yes, you don’t give up one of them, but your are bidding against many teams.

Sabres advantage is no contract has to go back to SJ.

This probably sounds odd, but of the list he mentioned, Savoie would be the one for me that I would include in a trade for Meier.

I used JJ in mine cause SJ get a young player for now. I would use Savoie in a trade for Timo if that worked. Probably the only one I would.

Timo doesn’t move the needle enough. If the Sabres were getting an elite guy back. Sure I would be all for it.

But he isn’t elite. He is “good”

He could go to elite playing with some of the talent on the Sabres.

I am not playing the “he could be elite with our players card”

For example / hypothetical: If Erik Karlsson was in his prime or a few years younger. I would be all for trading a top prospect.

But as of right now, he’s too old and his contract sucks

So a ? for the board and this is Hypothetical.
Sabres- Timo signs 7yr 61.2m Extension
SJ- 2023 1st, JJP and 2024 Buffalo 2nd
Can anyone tell me that would hurt the Sabres future. Yes it sucks losing JJ, but Kulich lessons that pain. The 1st is looking more and more like it could be later in the round and we still have all 3 2nds to do some damage.
Timo Cozens Quinn could become a devastating line together. Imagine that Top 6. And you would still have assets to grab a good RD and not hurt anything other than Terry's Wallet and its a big Wallet.

- Buff36

I love to negotiate, when I see an offer I immediately want to reduce the cost or increase the value coming back.
With that as the case, my feedback would be
-2023-1st or JJP, pick one you don't get both
-Mitts or Asplund, pick one
-2024-2nd

I like JJP so I would want to keep him, and would feel great losing our 1st and JJP. I would also want to get a contract off the books, hence Mitts/Asplund.

Last year Timo had 76 points in 77 games and this year he has 48 for 50.

So a point per game player

Adams has been good with trades. He isn’t moving anyone they love

They love Krebs, JJ, and Quinn. Adams was obsessed with Krebs in the Eichel trade.

Ask your source.

SEATTLE HOCKEY INSIDER: Rob Simpson examined possible trade chips for the Kraken if GM Ron Francis becomes a buyer at the trade deadline.

Prospects Jagger Firkus, Ryker Evans and Jani Nyman could become trade bait. Francis also carries three second-round picks in the 2023 draft.

Simpson believes the Kraken’s priorities will be shoring up their depth on defense and at center.

I understand that, and don't want to lose them either, but I did it to really show yes it would hurt to lose JJ and the 1st, but Buffalo would survive and pretty easily even giving that up, especially with the player coming back and the Talent a Forward coming up the pipeline.

Buffalo better just keep winning and taking care of business themselves, FL can barely get out of their own way most nights.
It was kinda interesting last night, I don’t think I’ve ever heard the Panthers so loudly booed at home like they were last night. For so long there were no real expectations of them actually being good, and as long as the effort was there the fans had their back.
This talented team flailing away currently out of a playoff spot coming out and stinking it up for the first 35 minutes was more than they could stand. It’s hard to watch Q’s hockey be replaced with Mo’s brand of “playoff hockey”. Maybe they’ll get it together, they’ve looked a little better since the new year. Idk.

His production could increase like Tuch's. We have that example right in front of us.

This guy would be the second best forward on the Sabres if acquired…..

His talent is severely slept on.

We will see what happens.

If we do make the trade. It’s most likely a prospect out of left field and 2 2nds

If the Sabres have a chance they should really go and get him, really brings everything to the table.
