This is what you actually said 😀

He's watching a roster that was basically given to him grow and Develop, Tuch definitely helped. They have drafted well. Adams is holding his own. He needs to take the next step like the team.

- Boss34

Cause the players he brought in other than Tuch, Power, Anderson when he plays, haven't really been good have they Boss. Comrie hasn't been good, Boosh hasn't been good until recently, Krebs is doin better, Clague has turned into a good signing but doesn't play all the time and Jost was a good pickup but how much was that the nerd crew. I should have worded my post better, Apologies.

They've done as much as they possibly can internally. They had to grab a couple low cost fillers when they simply didn't have anyone. Filling gaps more than turnover.

Karlsson 50% retained for a conditional 1.

Would you do it?

- ImThatGuy

No he is too old and terrible contract. Even if the sharks retain half

He has 4 more years of 11.5 mill. So half that is 5.75

A lot of the team was not playing very well at that time. Comrie has looked good coming back and goalies obviously benefit from teams playing well in front of them. It looks like they're starting to figure out that defense works.

Lybushkin also has started coming into his own. Wanted a more physical game but he's made some really nice plays recently. I know he had an injury for a while so maybe it nagged him, regardless it's nice to see him contributing.

Anderson plays well when he has rest, against Dallas he was their best player for most of the game. 34 games left, I would expect UPL to get like 17 games, Comrie 10, Anderson 7. If an injury happens or someone is hot they will change things but right now they're all playing pretty well and the team in front of them is part of that.

So a ? for the board and this is Hypothetical.
Sabres- Timo signs 7yr 61.2m Extension
SJ- 2023 1st, JJP and 2024 Buffalo 2nd
Can anyone tell me that would hurt the Sabres future. Yes it sucks losing JJ, but Kulich lessons that pain. The 1st is looking more and more like it could be later in the round and we still have all 3 2nds to do some damage.
Timo Cozens Quinn could become a devastating line together. Imagine that Top 6. And you would still have assets to grab a good RD and not hurt anything other than Terry's Wallet and its a big Wallet.

These are no brainer moves to me. Peterka or Quinn, anyone in the minors, at best we hope they become Meier.

This is the perfect opportunity for the Sabres. With the way the team has grown and developed this year and the prospects and assets they have!! The Possibilities

I'm in the minority, but I wouldn't do the deal above.

My arm would have to be twisted greatly to even give up one of the 23 1st or Peterka.

I'd sooner give up Savoie then either of the 2 pieces above.

The ask has been said to be like the DeBrincat trade.

What is the status on the Russian fella in this draft?

Is he physically in Russia right now?

I'd draft him in a NY minute and bribe him under the table to get to N. America (if he's not already here).

Being drafted 5th or 6th is falling a lot as he was originally projected to go top 2 or at worst, 3rd, as his talent is immense.

Here's today's maybe true trivia. I have not fact checked this one.

On January 29, 1971, Gilbert Perreault had the first three-goal game of his NHL career in the Sabres 4 - 2 win over the Golden Seals.

It's gonna be a long day till game time

Kid better get the F out of there before he gets drafted to the Red Army team. It's only another month and a half until fighting season starts in Ukraine.

Any of those top 4 guys (Bedard, Fantilli, Michkov, Carlsson) are 1st OA caliber players.

It’s a good year to suck that’s forsure
