If you haven’t listened to Granatos interview from this morning on WGR I’d suggest a listen.

He talks about how having Dahlin in this team allows power to do so much more.

It helps when you come into a team with Rasmus Dahlin on it and a real crop of forwards.

Power is learning from Dahlin

Having a stud d man to watch and play behind is doing wonders for Power. He could be a Hedman type and Dahlin can be Karlsson.

They are both on the Sabres. Incredible

The gap right now isn't that big. It's easy to see it happening.

Still. Processes the game at a elite level. His first pass is always the right call. Almost never throws the puck into someones skates.

The little things he does is what will make him a great defenseman. He might not ever have as many points as Dahlin, but what a 1-2 punch to have!!

Dahlin ain't exactly poopting the bed tonight.

He has most nights he's played. Of course helps playing with Dahlin or Power

Maybe.

With Dahlin you saw very early he was somewhat dirty even before he was a physical player. That always gave me a hint he would be physical. I have not seen that from Power yet, but it's still too early to tell if he ever will.

Dahlin got a lot better quickly when he started to be more physical. Power just doesn't have that same issue. Benefit of size and reach.

the bruins, canes, rangers or bolts would take us out in 5 aside from a hasek performance in net


get a 2 or 3 year fixture to upgrade, not a rental

Of course, don't discount switching Dahlin to RD, it basically was his original position in Sweden. Sabres are the one that switched him to his natural side when he came here. And having a mentor is big and Risto wasn't it for Dahlin.
