If he didn't go on the January heater we could be out of a playoff race right now. The only blowout win we've had was Anaheim. These have been tight games he's coming up big in. Even in a tight loss against Winnipeg, he was on the scoresheet. He's one of the guys carrying the load at the right time.

What if Jost just put the fear of God into 71 and 37? Vic's always been streaky, but this streak really matches up with Jost becoming his center. Jost and Mitts seem to be tight. Those two are really doing a job on that line.

That line is working like a line. Two guys doing the majority of the digging to set up their scorer. And, Vic is getting himself to where he needs to be. He is always in position to score. That ain't by accident.
