Just seems like a bad idea to subtract a player playing well for Meier. He's obviously a better player, but how much are you really going to gain by replaced Zucker with Meier? Is the team THAT much better? I still feel like not messing with the top 6 and only improving he bottom 6 is a smarter way to go.

I agree...but this was also upgrading goaltending while also giving the Pens a superior top 6 guy this season and going forward. Also, Zucker has been very injury prone....will he be here for the playoffs, if they make them, or the run to them? rhetorical question, obviously haha.
