It seems that Fitz wants the team constructed like the Bruins which is getting all of the players on team friendly deals. Clearly that is working for them, but let's see what it looks like when Pastrnak is on the line this year. At some point you have to pay up to keep your star players around. |

Would be a solid add. Just don't see why Arizona would move him, as their management loves him and hes locked up long term on a really good contract.
Nick Schmaltz is another good option from them, and he was in trade rumors last year so he's probably a more likely target. |

Would you guys be ok with Fitz selling off a bunch of 1sr rounders, Holtz and prospects if we ended up with a cup this year? Or would you prefer the slow, steady approach?
EK65, Timo and Reilly all become Devils. But for cap reasons, multiple teams need to join in to eat up cap, meaning we'd hemorrhage our future, but a cup was guaranteed this year.

Guess it depends on who you lump into the "bunch of 1st rounders" pile and how many is a bunch? Holtz, Stillman, Shakir? If so, then yes, absolutely.
