I have had a day to digest the Provorov situation. And forgive me for bringing this topic into this forum. However, when has it become such a crime to disagree?
Heck this forum is a classic example of differing opinions on many levels. When did this country change from having a mind to becoming a robot cog?
For a society that is looking to breakdown barriers and eliminate name designations. We sure put an emphasis on labels. The problem in my opinion is the groups that we are individualizing and publishing.
Who am I, or who is anyone else for that matter, have the right to publicly shame a person for having views or ideals. The people I blame for this is the media. Had nothing been written and Provorov sat quietly in the locker room during warmups. There would not be this mass holy than thou attitude by the league and media.
But then again, that is what a group like this strives for. That is what media outlets live for.
Stop labeling people and treat everyone as an equal and this bullsh!t goes away.

That people aren’t aware of their own hypocrisy is astounding. Not sure why I’m so shocked by it because it’s been going on for the last few years but it never ceases to amaze me.
