I love that Gallant was asked about Analytics and data like 3 days ago. Basically dismissed it and promoted Goodrow to RW2. Promoted after he did a fly by on St. Louis goal. Gerard Gallant is a stooge.

Well, the guy obviously has a knack for getting teams to a certain level quickly, even if it obviously doesn't sustain itself. So, I don't know about stooge.
But, these personnel decisions are infuriatingly without reason. How the (frank) is Kravtsov supposed to learn to do things the way they want if they won't put him in the line up and he "can't" be sent down?!?!?!?

Then Gallant needs to be asked what Goodrow does well and what Kravtsov doesn't do. Gallant claimed the Rangers have their own internal data. I want him to show us why Goodrow is better top 6 option compared to Kravtsov. Because by all the public data, Gallant looks like an idiot.

I liked the energy Brodzinski brought, but not enough to scratch Kravtsov. I’m not as ready as the rest of u to get rid of GG, it’s early and there’s plenty of time still to turn things around. I like having the kids on the top line and Kreider on the 3rd, now if someone could just remind him he’s 6’3 225 lbs and to play like it that would be great.

Agree with all this (about GG). You need your young wingers going ASAP, so when a center returns to the line up you scratch a... young winger????

I watch every single game and these stats are actually a bit of a surprise. His play has not seemed this dominant.

Vince Z. Mercogliano

@vzmercogliano
Kravtsov, Carpenter and Harpur are the guys doing the extra skating after. Those will be the scratches.

I asked Gallant why no Kravtsov on the second line anymore and he didn’t want to go into detail: “Coach’s decision.”

If we were winning games, and playing well, he could be as smug as he wants.

This is massive mishandling of the young players.
