Again, all LEGAL "assault style" guns which seems to be all but literal hunting rifles designed in the past 30 years for that purpose, have limiters on them or you can't have access to them. You need an advanced permit with certification training, safety clearance, random check ups on safe storage by police, limiters on your magazine capacity and legal declarations of ammunition purchased.

My Dad went through all of this and had 3 handguns to shoot for fun at the range. When he died it took us a couple of months to call the police and have them come take them. They took it pretty seriously, they treated us like criminals for not calling it in immidiately. I was like sorry in our grieving process it wasn't our first thought
