Sure, its been a great season, no doubt about that. Got lucky Krejci and Bergy came back on team friendly deals as they certainly could have got more money if they were looking for it.

The real body of Sweeney's work will be after those two are gone. Then I'm sure we will see the culmination of poor asset management that has been building. But for now, enjoying the one last hurrah.

Too bad. Was looking forward to Big Mac taking another player down when they are literally stepping on the goaltender. McAvoy did his job. Unfortunate that it ended in an injury, but any D man worth his weight is going to do the same or similar when someone is harassing their goaltender

I am not sure why the Bruins are going back to the two goalie system since Ullmark's return from injury. Swayman scares the crap out of me and was lucky to pull out wins. Ullmark has been nothing short of sensational and should play four out of every five games imo. Like tonight outshooting the hapless Coyotoes 46 to 16 and losing 4-3. If Ullmark had started tonight this would have been two points. 12 saves on 16 shots is not performance. Wake up Bruins and play the guy you pay big bucks.

Absolutely, he is not doing his job allowing quick goals to start the games and putting his team in a hole. Why is he starting so often? Ullmark unless he is not 100% should be in there unless its back to back. Even back to back is not a problem but teams seem to want to play the backup, not like the old days.

I know some people that were never high on the Ullmark signing but he played on a team like the Coyotes and his save percentage was still around .917 is my memory is correct. On a good team and healthy he has improved on that considerably. Play the hot hand and your number one regularly instead of trying to make Swayman your man when he is not ready.

You can't ride Ullmark into the dirt so he's done come playoff time. There needs to be some balance to keep him fresh. Still think Sway is going to be great, but he needs more time between the pipes to work out his game. He is very "on" and "off" right now and that is not good. Granted we have a decent cushion but the Leafs are starting to pick it up so our lead can evaporate pretty quickly. Sway can get much more ice time in Providence right now.

I did have reservations on the Ulmark signing - mostly because they gave a multi-year deal to a goalie who had no playoff experience - zero games.

He's doing great now for sure.

But we'll see what happens in post-season - if he can improve on his career 0-2 record.
