He is never going to be an NHL regular for this team, outside of injuries. There's 3 D already on the roster who are signed long term(could be 1 or 2 more if Graves/Severson are re-signed) and in terms of prospects he's very clearly behind Luke, Nemec, Bahl, and Casey. Coin flip if he's ahead of or behind Okhotiuk. He was a bad pick at the time, and nothing has changed unfortunately.
He *should* be used as trade bait if anybody actually values him as a 1st rounder, but I feel like Fitz is in love with him and would hesitate to move him. |

Sure it was an ugly win but these are games we used to lose in the past. Also helped that Schmid was solid in net.
