Armia is also on a hot streak now, the trade possibilities will soon be coming in like crazy.

I'd listen for Anderson too btw

sure, but I think the potential return won't be enticing enough, personally I'd rather keep him than getting a 2nd round pick or whatever.

I'd accept a used jockstrap for him ... you don't win with guys like that.

Play some hungry kids instead and let that floater go eat hotdogs in the stand.

at this point I don't care much about the return. when he is on his game I absolutely love the guy.
problem is, that's 1 game/5. and I'm being generous.

well I don't see the point in trading the guy if the return doesn't matter lol... I get it, he's inconsistent, but it would be so depressing to see him go for what most likely would be a rather poor return, while still being stuck with the likes of Armia, Dadonov, Hoffman, etc... anyway I find he's been more involved lately and has been playing fairly well.

Just checked Armia's contract ... we're stuck with him for 2 more years (3.4 mil) after this year.

Jesus Christ, no wonder Molson told Bergy to get the (frank) out of town. Sheesh!

Yup.

He’s exactly what a playoff team is looking for

I was really hoping that St-Louis could light a fire under his ass and get some of that Finland national team effort he had displayed a while ago, but it sure looks like that's not gonna happen.

they need to make room for the kids. yes Drouin Dadonov, Byron...
but let's look a bit more into the future. do we want to build a contender (2-3 years from now) with or without Anderson?
if the answer is yes you keep him. if the answer is no, you trade him as soon as you can imo. his value will only go down as he gets older. they won't get the moon, but they'll clear 5.5M and open a spot for a kid. they will always have Gallagher to play the old vet. him they won't be able to get rid of.

yeah I get it, I'm not entirely opposed to the idea of trading him either, I'd just like to see other guys leave before him (and yeah, the dead wood isn't worth much and they're probably stuck with most of it, I know lol).
