Bill, how come you no longer put the TV and radio coverage in your game day posts?

Man, sometimes Clarke's mouth got ahead of his brain.

They go in 5 Things on the Flyers site per their request, specifically so people can direct link to Flyers Radio 24/7.

If it wasn't for all the injuries. Kerr might have wound up in the HOF. He was that good

His numbers were very similar to Cam Neely, who is in.

Atkinson -- very soon, per the player.

TK and JVR -- both hopefully by the end of next week. Just a matter of comfort and strength.

Allison -- still not practicing yet so he's not imminent.

DeAngelo -- Day to day, they say.

I loved those 80's teams. Tim Kerr was my favorite player on that team, 4 straight 50 goal seasons, over 20 PP goals 4 times in his career, and one year had 34 PP goals - Incredible! Kerr is top 10 in goals per game in NHL history and was clutch in the playoffs. Even though his career was cut short due to injuries, I believe he belongs in the NHL Hall of Fame!

I met him when he owned the ECHL team in Pensacola - I told him the same thing - his response was just a sly smile -

While living in Kona during lockdown, I wore a Flyers mask.
A person told me Tim Kerr lived on Island months at a time.
Damn never saw him though, woulda been the fanboy equivalent to when I met Mel Brooks at Santa Anita.

If he was healthy vs Edmonton, flyer fandom would not be so painful.

Just looked at them both. That's crazy, but I always thought Cam shouldn't be in.

I love the 80s review and Tim Kerr piece, Bill. Fantastic work on your part - thanks!

For everyone that complains about Leon Stickle I say Danny Briere.

It's a game played by humans and refereed by humans. Mistakes happen. That's life. I wish they'd eliminate all video review.

Tim Kerr was a beast. I loved watching him play.

Kerr is 11th in NHL history in goals per game played.

Agreed. Personally, when you look at his goals per game over the course of his career, you can make a case that he deserves to be in. As Bill pointed out, his numbers are very similar to Cam Neely’s and Neely is in.

(frank) Leon Stickle! That play was offside by at least 2 feet and it’s inexcusable that a professional linesman missed that call. He’s just lucky the game was in Uniondale, if it’s in Philly, he would have needed a police escort to even have a chance of getting out of the city alive.

One call was in a pivotal game of the cup final the other was in game 1 of round one. Also, wasn't Dupuis' goal a waved off icing for no reason? So I think the calls kind of evened out there. Plus the Pens were still up 3-1 after Briere's goal.

Kind of with you on the video review though. I like that they added the wrinkle of giving the challenging team a minor penalty if they're wrong.
