Ben Shelley: Ducks on another losing skid, remain dead last in NHL

After hearing GMPV's comments, I'm no longer concerned about what happens this season. His concern about effort over execution means the poor guys are stuck with Eakins for the rest of the year. The guys are certainly trying hard (in Terry's case, too hard) which must make Verbeek happy. That the Ducks seem unable to make even simple plays doesn't seem to concern him. The fact that Terry has scored as much as he has this year is a true testament to his skill. If you shut down Troy and Trevor, you only need to score one or two goals to get the 2 points. I sure hope the ping-pong balls fall Anaheim's way.

Anaheim has another year or 2 of suffering, before the fruits of the dark days start to show up.
A pretty nice prospect pool, along with the young players already on the team. Of course, the extra draft picks are always nice.

Why is Rocco not on the roster.. he could def help and be productive.

Eakins is clearly not head coaching material. PV doesn't like to use the work "terrible" .. WTF would you call the 32nd ranked PP & PK ...Whatever they are doing in practice isn't working.

Another completely mailed in performance ... A verbeek special. Outshoot by a huge margin.. giving up goals on 1st shots of the game again.

Completely lost in the D zone.Ck. Ignoring the most dangerous player on the ice.Ck. No finishing ability in the Ozone. Ck.
