Just saw the highlights.

Karma was Ruby complaining about every single play about one team (the one he cheers for) and nothing about the other team (the one he doesn't cheer for) even though they made lots of mistakes as well.

Then the team that was complained about the most won the game. That's the karma part.

They definitely (Colorado) weren’t great, and Francouz was doing his best Demko. I think the refs got the Garland no goal call wrong. If’s the same things over and over though. Incapable of exiting their own zone cleanly, incapable of stopping the opposition from exiting their own zone cleanly, getting hemmed in for extended periods and giving up too many great scoring chances.

A win is a win, but they aren’t a good team (Canucks).

It probably should have been. Horvat shooting % is almost 23% right now. Career average 16.6%. This goal output is not sustainable.

I saw 3 posts for the Avs but according to public models the final score should have been 3-2 for Colorado.

We know he is on a hot streak, that's why you trade him while his value is high.

They will trade him when he starts to suck and his value is lower.

Unfortunately, they still think they have a shot at the playoffs, even though they’re 6th in the division, 12th in the conference and basically need to win 40 of their next 62 games.

Thought the same thing last season and were in similar position.

I am just not sure how the Canucks executives can look at this team and say it's gonna happen with them. They aren't gonna win though.

Luke Schenn Daddy has more even strength points than Miller this year

That's something that also isn't going to be sustainable.

The Vancouver Canucks are 6-2-1 with Sheldon Dries in the lineup, 1-8-2 without

REALLY makes ya think!
#Canucks

Donna was losing his poop over Dries being in the line up.

Oilers look like the Flames of two weeks back. yipes need some bottom 6 scoring and they sure miss Kane.

For a guy who gambles, you must be really poopty at it.

It's a lot of odds and numbers. Just about every odds and stat out there says the complete opposite about how you talk about the Canucks.

Blind faith? Homer? What exactly is it that you would think against the odds so badly?

Sounds like #LGRW defenseman Mark Pysyk has reinjured his surgically repaired Achilles. Originally underwent surgery in July, was working his way back - only to suffer another significant blow.

Tough injury. All the best to him.

Detroit could use another 6-7 D it sounds like. Get that 5th round pick back????

Yep almost said guaranteed win night. Historically, teams they have no business beating they usually take care of. Took a lot from Martin and some good bounces.

Except for Boston, Carolina and Vegas, but hey youre writing the story here.

Every Canucks win, they are still the team complained about most on this board. What are you new?

After reading the last two pages, I swear the actual score was 14-2 for Colorado.

They will never win with this mix of players that they have committed too. They may not trade him but it would be as dumb as not trading Pearson, Not trading Miller, trading for Garland and OEL.

- manvanfan

Canucks played great, very entertaining game. Reffing was atrocious

Saw this posted online:
Brock Boeser currently has an 8 game point streak with 2 goals 7 assists 9 points during this streak

- dbot

I see that. Brock was brutal last night just like he has been for the last 150 games. Worst contract on the team

8 game point streak, 13 pts in 14 games this year

It really got me last night when they showed that Pettersson, Miller, Horvat, Boeser, and Kuzmenko are all over a point-per-game over the last 10 or so games

Campbell looks like a ringette goalie and Skinner is coming back to earth. They need some D, won’t always be able to out score the D.

Unless it’s a top 3 pick I don’t think it really matters til the get better scouts.
