It's not all on Mittelstadt, but without his gifted power play time, he produces bottom of the roster level production.
We don't want better? - kingcong39
aside from the top line
there is zero chemistry up front aside from glimpses from cozens and peterka

The 4 guys you mentioned, so far this season for even strength goal scoring:
1 - Mittelstadt, Asplund
0 - Hinostroza, Krebs
Want to take a guess who has received the most ice time of the 4 above?
So far this season, he's just as incapable of scoring an even strength goal as the other 3 players you mentioned.
Are you suddenly now enamored with power play production? - kingcong39
Of course not.
He’s receiving BY FAR the most of the blame for the middle six scoring woes. It’s really not close |

If your point is that he is not alone in being part of the problem, I agree.
If your point is that he's meeting expectations, I disagree.
He cannot have 2 even strength points and only one even strength goal after 25% of the season has been completed.
That's pathetic production. |

Eventually, beating on VO gets tiring and it's pretty clear he's not here long term. He's the biggest middle 6 problem.

So blame Krebs who’s been stapled to the 4th line ? Sure the offence hasn’t been there for Krebs, but the defence has. When you’re playing in a defensive role, I think that holds merit.
What production would Krebs have with Casey’s PP minutes ?
Casey and Olofsson are our two worst forwards at even strength and it’s not even close. |

Krebs looked good with Cozens and Peterka.
He has then been stapled to the 4th line or Mittelstadt and Olofsson since (not sure what’s worse).
Am I completely absolving Krebs of any blame ? No.
But we are asking a skill guy to play with one arm behind his back in a role he isn’t suited for.

My phone did the IOS update and for some reason it saved my other login on my keychain.
Created that login a couple years back that stopped once I jinxed our Swedish Prince. |

Krebs doesn't really fit in this lineup right now and they don't want to send him down. It's a problem.
Third line is where you want to shelter some of these kids, but it's blocked and ineffective. Self inflicted wound.
It's the curse of a strong finish last year. They thought they were further ahead than they are.

Krebs doesn’t have a single goal man. Neither does Hinostroza. Yet all I read on Twitter is how bad Mittelstadt is.
Does Girgensons and Okposo have 0 goals? Are they not “stapled to the 4th line”? |

Mittelstadt has one goal more than zero at even strength. Big deal.
He's certainly at least part of the problem. |

Well when you have a line of Hino"have no role"stroza, "Charmin Ultra Soft" Casey, and "Im not sure what do without the puck" Olofsson your not gunna get much 5v5 chemistry,
None of them are a real playmaker, none of them grind for the puck, none of them have any kind of size

His line should not see a defensive zone faceoff EVER... but yet they still do.

VO would have the same even strength production but he gets a few EN goals and nobody bats an eye.

I didn’t say he wasn’t. I said he’s getting a lion share of the blame while there are others also not producing |

When Krebs can shoot a puck harder than my mom i'll welcome him back to a offensive role.

Dahlin with a monster tonight. He stops the skid on his own. 1 goal, 2 helpers, and a semi-fight (one of those where no one actually drops gloves or bucket).
Jost with a goal because if he's ever going to have a jolt of extra adrenaline it's going to be his first game with the new team in a sold out Montreal.
Sabres 4 (ENG)
Canadiens 1
Dahlin, Jost, Tage, Vic (you can guess who gets the ENG)
Or 5 - 4 Habs. My psychic wires are getting mixed signals. |

Moonrocks taste like what I imagine sex panther smells like. Pure gasoline.
I might watch tomorrow just to see the goatheads but I have to be honest, this season I really am and have been finally done with this organization.
It’s not a good feeling. We are a farm team for the NHL. It’s so painfully obvious. The daily poopshow on here is just sad at this point.
How anyone can defend anything about this entire organization from top to bottom, is beyond me.
They literally can’t even do one thing right. |
