I'm more than ready to let the following go
-Joker
-Mitts
-Krebs
-Girgs (TDL candidate)
-Okposo (not happening)
-Olofsson (keep posting pts at EV to make it happen)
-2023-2nds
-2023-1st protected though
-a couple prospects
Should be able to find two guys that fit from that collection - IonSabres
I think the short term goals should be to
1. improve the 3rd line of casey, olofsson and vinny
figure out if krebs fits in that slot or not
we have seen enough of casey and olofsson IMO and it's fare to say they are not long term fixtures if the goal is to be good
2. upgrade the slot joker plays
if that means drop joker to 3rd pr fine, if it means ship him out, also fine
3, figure out if 6k is in long term plans, and that only comes with nhl games
4. get johnson, levi and portillo signed in the spring
5, do everything possible to let cozens, peterka and quinn grow as a line
6. work on special teams |

As one may suspect, according to CA, Vic has the best hands on the team as far as a shot. He says he can't read him at all, and that Vic changes where he shoots all the time. He also says all the young guys are still easy to read.
Excellent interview. |

Curious to see what KA learned from year 1. Mitts, VO, Joker, and Bryson all have 1 year left of their deals. If they just let them play out, they could corner themselves again.
UPL as well. He'll be 25 at the end of his deal, 2 years from UFA. Same point where indecision on Ullmark set in and killed them.

I'd say this is year 2 of their primes, and cap floor in both of them.
The way they drafted recently means they have to make trades...and KA has shown no ability to do so. - Lunaion
I think your qualm with KA isn't his inability, rather his decision not to this past offseason.
He has in fact shown the ability to trade, although a very limited number of them. |

He's very content with what he has.
His trades have been selling guys who have asked out and acquiring players for future considerations. The moves he needs to make now are completely different. He needs to break out of evaluating mode and make a few hockey trades. He hasn't shown that kind of decisiveness yet.

Fine, but it doesn't matter if you are only taking 1 or 2 shots a game |

Don’t agree on getting rid of all that
But i do think there’s enough trade chips there (plus we have more that u haven’t listed) in order to make a good mov or 2 (or 3, lol) |

I don’t think “content” is the right word
Adams is just being patient enough to realize that not all young players reach their potential by age 23
Giving the kids time to develop so he can more accurately see what he’s got in each of them is just a smart move

I benched Garrett Wilson at 12:38 today ….. for Joshua Palmer. What a terrible terrible decision |
