Not even trading back, there were legit actual people wanting him #1 overall instead of drafting a D man.

Yea a lot happened.

The conversation was we didn’t need Power we had Dahlin.

We needed forwards.

Trade back and take him first were both conversations that were had.

We have 1 superstar on defense and one in the making in power. Samuelson is gonna be very good.

No need to trade 2 more first for a all star D. Especially when we have 2 first overall picks back there already.

Def need another good RD. We have the prospect to make a trade now or at the deadline. Think they might want to see what our defense looks like healthy.

Id rather look for a middle 6 forward to be able to keep some of the kids down in the farm that need it…..krebs,quinn.

Karlsson has the most even strength points of any player in the entire league.

He only has 6 points on the power play.

All while playing on a dog poop team.

That's the problem when your team is so thin up front. When your best line is on, like last night, it's fantastic. When they're not, which is inevitable during an 82 game season, this team becomes a chore to watch.
