He has been in the wings learning from his father for years. You may not want him for whatever reason but he’s more then likely next in line.

I dont really know much about Chris...other than he's Lou's son. Im gun shy, after hearing that Garth Snow was hired, and employed for 12 years, because he was good at fantasy hockey in the back of the bus. Thats CRAZY to me. Fans were charged National League prices, for a fantasy hockey team

Ironically enough those are the people that catch Covid 5 times. Everyone will find out a whole lot over the next few years. Book it.

Im just tired of the finger pointing......it seems like its always one side pointing the finger. Im all about keeping my eyes on my own paper. Social Media is the cause of woke culture. Dont worry its only a matter of time before fighting is "cancelled" from the NHL.

I don’t know enough about his son to really have an opinion. I’ll also add, who would you want? I believe other then Sakic and Yzerman it’s pretty much a crap shoot of garbage.
- Cptmjl

It's ownerships job to figure it out. Maybe Ricky Roma is available? I think Chris is in charge of Bridgeport which has been a tire fire for the most part.

I get it, and not even being political, we just witnessed the changing of the world. People got really crazy.....the masks are still a thing. I see people drive alone with a sock on their face, and im like, yeah im probably not gonna like you.
- kindlyrick

I never understood, even at its peak, wearing a mask while driving alone. That just made no sense to me.
I did wash my hands and use sanitizer all the time, especially when, say, using a gas pump or opening a door. I did wear a mask in public and I got the vaccine and a booster. Made it all the way to last November before I go Covid. Of course I wasn't wearing a mask, social distancing or really doing anything beyond normal hand-washing. Maybe it helped to not be as bad as maybe those that didn't get the shot, but I still got Covid. Oh well. I think it will just be part of our daily lives from here on out. Like getting a flu shot. "Did you get your flu and Covid shot?"

Wang, god rest his soul, was a bit of an odd man. Nobody else probably in the world would hire Snow.

So nice nobody values the Islanders players.

I have never heard about us having a "deep Prospect pool" .. ever.. We always have "no prospects and very little talent in the system... always. It's always complete B.S.

All you have to do is watch the world Juniors. We have a few players in the tournament. Raty has a very good chance to lead all players in this tournament. If you watch a Finland game you can also see 2 other Isles prospects Rajaniemi and Liukas.

Dufour is on Team Canada in the tournament. that is certainly a big deal for a guy who was a late round pick. "His inclusion on Team Canada shows how much Dufour has grown since that 2020 Draft, going from a fifth-round selection to a top-nine forward, playing alongside first-round selections just two years later."

While no one will talk about them until they are on the Islanders and playing well Salo, Hutton, and Bolduc are all good D- prospects, and so is Wilde once the vaccine idiocy is over.

While Holmstrom hasn't reached where they hoped he would be at this point he is still thought of as someone who will possibly develop into very good 2 way player.

The bottom line is I have heard forever how we have so few prospects in the system and the current Islanders team has more "Home Grown" players... by a lot. If you remember.. no one thought Devon Toews was any good until he was on another team.

Current players on the roster that we drafted
Barzal
Beau
Brock
Lee
Pulock
Pelech
Sorokin
Bailey
Casey
Martin
Dobson
Whalstrom
Mayfield

and Aho and Bellows if they make the team.

It's also the cause of the cancel culture.
I have a buddy that used to host a local afternoon sports talk radio show. He got fired because he called it the Chinese virus. Which several public figures had referred to it as such. But a group of Karens called the station and complained and got him fired.

Yeah there's a lot i dont understand, but again, to each their own. People were afraid, and still are.....I get it. What I dont get is the constant inconsistencies.

Here's an off the topic question......why cant you lock your gas pump in the on position in New York? Its another example of being told what you can and cannot do...

Can never discount a good faceoff guy. Its really what made Cizikas' career.....that and the PK
- kindlyrick

The one year Casey was healthy he scored 20... on the 4th line, playing the PK and zero PP. He is a very underrated player too that most people only look at his stats and say.."overpaid"

Snows resume stopped at the isles. At best he's a scout somewhere. Maybe

There were a few on here that said exactly that. They all but guaranteed Snow would get scooped right up. Still waiting for that fateful day when that happens.

He's hanging with Jack Capuano, Sean Bates, and Ricky D talking about New England hockey. Capuano's still wearing a 58 neck after losing 100 lbs.

Nope, due to it being completely ineffective and useless. Like a mosquito flying through a garage door…. Anything other then an n95 is completely ineffective for preventing viral transmission. n95 is still borderline useless.

Especially considering the virus can enter through your eyes. The people who mask shamed I guess were wrong. I knew people were nuts, but this brought out the real winners. The 6 ft apart screamers, while masked and vax'd were my personal favorites (i.e the supermarket arrows)

I assume you mean squeeze the trigger and let it pump by itself? If that's the case then maybe it's because some sensors that shut the pump off when full have gone bad, and have overflowed, dumping gas on the ground. If it's cold and you go sit in your warn car, you're not paying attention to the pump. Just waiting for the click. Or perhaps when a person hears the pump stop, they start their car and take off. Taking the nozzle and hose with them. I've seen that a few times.
Just a thought but I have absolutely no idea.

It’s also a droplet virus like every Covid type, not an airborne virus. There’s a HUGE difference. We would’ve all caught this thing ten times over now and god knows I would’ve caught it once if it were airborne. I still haven’t…

I know I’m going to get it after this statement

Of course, i get it......anything can happen. But, why when you leave new york is it allowed? My point is, in new york you're being told you cant do this. There's no good reason.....not when other states allow it.
