Pretty decent trade. I think Huberdeau is better than Turtle anyway. Of course, these guy gotta resign or it’s just a 1st rounder.

Or flip them for more. Still pretty great return for turtle I think.

BOA is back on. Great move by the Flames and as I said before getting rid of the Turtle and Johnny was the best thing they could do.

Well it would have been better if they’d gotten at least something for JG. Right now it’s still wait and see on what JH does.

I do agree, the Flames remain one of the top teams in the pacific with this trade. Are they prolonging the agony for another season? Time will tell. Bottom line is this is a great return for a player also on an expiring contract.
Looking forward to seeing the Oilers kick the poop out of them again in the playoffs👍

Less likely with that idiot Tkachuk gone. He pretty much single-handedly turned that series for the oilers.

They had no Answer for MCD,LD and EK. (frank) all. You think they’ll come up with something in a year?

When the flames played their game they frustrated the hell out of the oilers. Then Tkachuk went full retard and they completely fell apart after game 1 in the playoffs.

Calgary relied too much on "truculence". Guys like Zadorov, Lucic, Gudbranson, and Ritchie hurt more than they helped.
