I agree, he should have already been traded.
I get a kick out of people who want to wait until they run out of time.
Some will insist on the 1st being in next year's draft, because it is more top end heavy, but there are lots of good defensemen in this draft, maybe just not of the shiny variety, that several seem to prefer.

If there's multiple teams interested in JTM there should be some decent offers coming in which may just need to get tweaked, that happens on the draft floor or in around that time. Failing that you have all summer.
