I don't think they will move Anderson. If they move him, they will have to find another through the draft.

Hughes said he was concerned because he thinks the team is a bit too small. Trading Anderson doesn't make sense in that regard.

this. he's basically one of the only forwards with size lol

It depends what ultimately get in return…

If you get Dubois, you get size with talent…

Much more talent than Anderson…

Cap wise, this is better for Winnipeg and an extra for Habs…

Of course, Anderson alone won’t get you Dubois but given that he apparently does not want to sign in Winnipeg…

Anyway, pure speculation here…

There are a lot of guys ahead of them in the pecking order, IMO.

Not one Stanley Cup amongst any of the guys named to the hall.

All good with me even if no one of them won the Cup…

If Luongo can make it, no reason Price won’t…

Cup or not…

I also think having your Jersey in Habs rafters is way more prestigious than be at the HHF…

I think Pierre Turgeon is never going to get in, somehow.

but Dubois already confirmed he wanted to test free agency, doesn't make sense to give up any key pieces for him now.

Dubois is RFA with arbitration this year, eligible for UFA in 2024.

He's only the forward with the most points still not included.

The only one with over 1300 points too.

But I get Daniel Alfredsson's less points and stellar leadership skills leading Ottawa to nothing got the better of him this time.

The magic of playing a long time in a Canadian market. How many years could you argue alfie was the best player on his team?

i was lol.

i never fought another goalie though. it was always just some guy that was picking on one of our smaller guys or something like that. i grew up watching ron hextall so i probably thought this behavior was normal. lol

kinda sucks for WPG, they've lost some good players in recent years, they seem to have a good fanbase but are having issues retaining talent. perhaps this is a negotiation ploy from Dubois, and if WPG pays him he'll decide to finally stay...
