so that should make the “get tougher” crowd quite happy if it happens

If we are trading for him, then we likely think he can hit his ceiling as a top4 “shutdown” defenseman
If Vegas is trading him (for a reasonable price), they likely think he’ll stay as a 3rd pair guy
