Was Darcy Kuemper better than Andrei Vasilevskiy in the Stanley Cup Final? 👀

Kuemper 4-2 | .908 SV% | 2.33 GAA | 1 SO

Vasilevskiy 2-4 | .905 SV% | 3.33 GAA

Goaltending….if you’ve got a lot of run support it’s not as important.

That was supposed to be a question mark at the end of that, a question, not a statement.

Maybe if you proof read every once in a while the question mark would be there.

Still, I think the Avs don't win without what Francouz did while Kuemper was hurt. Goaltending made a huge difference for them. Just not in the way this post suggests.

Your list of excuses is longer than the one the Benning fanboys had.

Agree, an incredibly important position, however, I don’t think you need all-world goaltending to win. Just solid enough to be good when you’ve got a really good team in front of you.

I remember Minivan saying he didn’t think Colorado had good enough goaltending to win with Kuemper. Well, much like everything else he says, that was wrong

Despite my best efforts, I don't think Minivan fully understands the game.

That tends to happen when you only read pie-graphs and spreadsheets.

It’s 75°F in our house, a/c bills are around $200 a month, which isn’t bad at all compared to the $600 bi-monthly bill we used to have to pay BC Hydro during the winter in Victoria.

Injuries had nothing to do with it. It was all Gary’s refs, gifting the Aves the cup.

seriously it is his repetitive schtick, If only Lou made one save.

Gary and the refs hate Canada and will do anything and everything to keep Lord Stanley’s Cup from any Canadian team…
