Not that I think there's any need to delve into the creepiness - but aren't they specifically not minors if they're serving alcohol? They definitely don't fit into half+7, I'll tell you that.
As for COVID - I just had a couple of weeks ago. It was a 3-4 day thing. Mostly fatigue, fever and coughing - but not constant. I didn't feel well, but being objective I've had a number of flus that hit me harder.
Let's not forget that Omicron is the weakest strain and we're vaccinated, so the initial onset of COVID and the Delta variant would have packed a serious punch.
My wife felt poorly for 1 day, but her mom (who is 75 and has a number of health issues) is still experience aftereffects and we're into 2 weeks later for her. - Monkeypunk
I haven't been here in a couple of weeks, just busy life at the moment. Have I missed something? Moxies has somehow become a hot topic??? off season I guess.

Hey Cush, hope you get better quickly. I had covid in late February, was on my ass for 3 days, took a full 10 days to get back to 100%. Take care buddy! - Symba007

Don't be stupid about this, you were on here repeatedly posting inappropriate comments about the staff at Moxie's (regardless of their ages I might add) and I cut you some slack.
Keep the locker room talk for the locker room if you choose to engage in that.

That was why I thought the deal was nuts. Technically I believe it was 4 first round picks. 2 were prospects who the lightning had used 1st round picks on.
It was a sweet deal for Chicago. - Aaron_85
Oh, for sure. Excellent deal for Chicago. Taking massive advantage of a team trying to make itself a dynasty.
Thank (frank) the Leafs didn't do that stupid poop.

My description -
downtown is mostly deserted, other than their drug addicts/homeless on the streets. There was a park downtown, you could literally look out at night, and see the odd glow of a lighter here and there, in various locations. I'm told that's homeless/addicts lighting up pipes. In the morning, I went for a walk to get a coffee. Downtown, middle of a business week, 8am. 20 minute walk, saw a handful of people, maybe.
There really isn't much there. The weather is legitimately horrendous nearly the whole year.
The housing? I took a cab from airport to downtown hotel. Basically, in the entire drive, I saw nothing but what you would consider a small 70s bungalow in any other city, the entire drive. miles and miles of unimpressive bland small bungalows, with nobody anywhere.
In fact, when I went to leave, I wanted a slice of pizza, so grabbed my bag, had 3 hours before flight, and started walking. I thoguht I would find a pizza joint, and then hail a cab. Walked about an hour. 1 pizza joint, and they wouldn't sell a slice, said they only did delivery. on top of that, I simply couldn't get a cab. Downtown. I think they maybe had a rule that they don't pick up people hailing on the street or something. But it took another 10 minutes of walking just to find a shop that would call a cab. Ate at the airport.
EDIt - just for fun, I went on youtube and found a video somebody made of their trip to winnpeg. Look at this video, and note, in the entire video tour of winnipeg, you can count the number of people you see on the streets on one hand.

Its March in Winnipeg...of course no one is out and about.
Spoken like a man who has never had a friend from South Asia. Give me lamb vindaloo as hot as possible every time - AdamFrench
There's a spot in Montreal called Mysore and they have a bangalore curry chicken, which is spicier than their Vindaloo.
Coming from a guy who usually can't get enough heat, this stuff was pretty intense. I made it through the whole thing with some sweating and occasional tastes of raita, but man... the stomach ache and heartburn afterwards were intense. I have a mostly iron stomach and don't get heartburn, that poop was crazy.

I realize it's a chain and it's not really that authentic, but I order the hot Vindaloo from Indian Hut and it's never that hot. It's irritating. Granted, as I've said, I live in Waterdown and the options for Indian food aren't exactly extensive here.
