Allvin isn’t calling the shots without Rutherford yet

My point is that if you trade players for assets and then pick up UFA to fill the gaps, you come out ahead in the long run

For example……(hypothetical)

Dubas trades Nylander for 3 prospects
Then signs Forsberg as UFA
Now you have Forsberg + 3 prospects instead of just Nylander
(Yes I realize FF will probably get 8.5m)

Vancouver is building around Demko, Hughes and Pettersen
They don’t need to stampede towards the clitoris yet

- mr.sir

This was Kyle's mistake - stampeding towards the Tavares.

It's ironic that both Burke and Dubas (frank)ed up their rebuilds the same way - trying to fast track.

I dunno, the Leafs could be there. A call here a fake penalty not called. Boom.

I'm going to say it again, that Hagel trade looks like trash. 6 points in the playoffs. two first round picks for this guy.

Yes I get his salary is cheap but he only scored 4 goals after being traded and 2 were empty netters. If his points don't get close to what he got in Chicago it's a horrible trade. It's already not been good for this run.

- Aaron_85

It was terrible when they made the trade and it's aged like a fine rotting corpse.

The only time he was relevant the entire playoffs was when he kept diving against the Leafs.

Also, when he boarded a guy a should've been suspended. But that would've been bad for Tampa, so Parros ignored it.

I (frank)ing hate moxies. Their menu is crap, the food is bland, the prices are ridiculous and the 'eye candy' isn't even legal.

I'm trying to think of a single sit down chain restaurant I enjoy.

Captain's boil is pretty good I guess

Kinton ramen is good

Man. Guys just keep falling in the Memorial Cup game whenever someone gets near them and the refs keep falling for it.

Ruining the game.

I can't think of many. I don't mind Swiss Chalet. Their gravy/sauce whatever it's called is amazing.

Kinton the ramen joint up near Kennedy Commons? I really like that place. Ramen, karage chicken, and a pint of Sapporo.

The Leafs have priced themselves out of resigning these two players or any good free agents due to spending $50 mil on 5 players.

those are two different items at the Swiss Chalet.
It called their Chalet sauce while the other is just called gravy.
I'm an odd ball who doesn't like the Chalet sauce

The Jets priced themselves out of players by being located in a poop-hole part of the world that no one wants to go to.

Also, because they're gonna be tearing the team down, since their best players all want out.

Truly unfortunate.

Ah. Right. Chalet sauce.

Yeah, eh? Man, I love that stuff. It goes so perfectly with their fries.

I didn’t hear Jon Cooper complaining about “too many men” when it was time to circumvent the cap

I like ihop for breakfast. The keg maybe? Both of those are overpriced too.

Never thought about it but it is actually difficult to think of ones I like.

I liked state and main but they went kaput.

Mom and pop authentic Mexican places will always be king.

Breakfast places are different, they're not as outrageously overpriced and bad.

You can't beat the legit family restaurants.

That's weird how last year they got Bunting, who was third in Calder voting, Kase and Kampf. And then they signed Giordano for two years for almost nothing. How'd those moves grab ya there pocko?
