I didn’t say you were whining at all. It’s a play that happens a lot and rarely called…it’s a fast game and unfortunately the refs are going to catch everything. That’s just the reality. I would think Kadri didn’t create that much of an advantage that the refs thought it should be a penalty called in OT of a Stanley cup final. Not to say anything goes, but unless it led to a scoring chance, which it really didn’t all on its own would be a tough call. When the goal actually went in there was actually 7 Bolts on the ice….how could there be justification either way?

Respectfully,

1. The refs blew it because to the Avs credit, they upped the puck quickly.

2. 4 of the bolts were within 5 feet of boards, 2 coming on and 2 coming off.

You can not get a picture of Kadri and McKinnon in the same shot, because it was that off. Kudos to Kadri for pushing it, but it was super blatant. If they were standing together near the bench and one of them handled the puck, it would have been blown immediately. We see that all the time. It should be no different and even more obvious, if the sub player is already 50 feet on the other side of the rink before the other guy is within 10 feet of the bench.

Its over and done....I just like the exercise in logic and critical thinking.

Give me a break, poor John Cooper and the dirty Tampa bay team. How quickly they forget all the calls that went their way. How about last year against the islanders, same thing except shoe on the other foot. Or how about the disallowed goal /questionable call the game before that totally changed the outcome of the game. Or how about the goalie interference in the same game w goal counting. Please stop cooper. McKinnon was going off the ice five ft from bench. Legal. No bearing on the play nor did the guy that came on the ice. And the. Cooper was crying about the salary cap? Who is this guy? Biden? He cheated the system last year with kucherov on IR to circumvent the cap til the playoffs. Ava won. Put them away tmrw and let’s call it a day

This is why the call it the NATIONAL GARBAGE LEAGUE, led by Gary "BLOODY HANDS" Bettman!! A prime example of all this BS is looking back to 1985 when the Royals beat the Cardinals in the World Series. In the ninth inning of game 6, umpire Don Denkenger blew a call at first base that took a World Series from the Cardinals, and the Umpire after the game admitted he blew the call. How does a so called professional sport like Hockey let what happened to Tampa NOT BE REVIEWED? What do you have to say for yourself GARY "BLOODY HANDS" BETTMAN? You have a team going for a third straight STANLEY CUP and let the call stand without a review? This NATIONAL GARBAGE LEAGUE HAS REALLY SHOWN THE WORLD HOW NOT SECOND CLASS IT IS, BUT A THIRD CLASS PROFESSIONAL LEAGUE IT IS. Now the public with all the legal betting going on, wants to know IF THE LEAGUE FIXED THE FINALS SO THE "F**KING AV'S CAN WIN THE CUP!! Guess who scored the goal? the same idiot who should of been suspended for all the playoffs after the DIRTY HIT ON JORDAN BINNINGTON and SCREWING THE BLUES!!!! Thanks Gary and Georgia Parros!!!!!

This is sports entertainment. Let’s have no cheering after a goal until it’s reviewed? Boring, takes all the excitement out of cheering for a goal until…wait for the review…ok…NOW cheer. I think that’s nuts. Tampa beat islanders last year with too many men…now it’s their turn. And Kadri still beat McDonough and Sergachev to the net. Sorry, don’t agree at all.

Thank God the NFL doesn't allow bad calls to happen without the possibility of review.

Ok, let's supposed that Tampa gets the call. Review will says 7-6 in favour of Colorado. What's the plan now?

Im old enough to have watched sports without instant replay or replay review, and i've watched sports for almost 30 years now with replay. Replay has not improved officiating in any team sport, and it has certainly taken joy and spontaneity from the act of watching sports as a fan. There is not a shadow of a doubt in my mind sports were better before replay.

Tennis is the exception to the above. Tennis replays are always accurate and take less than 10 seconds. Tennis has improved with replay.

Also, baseball fair/foul ball calls are quick and accurate and should remain.

All other replay should be abolished. Replay reviews suck the joy out of sports.

I don't mind reviews of whether pucks went in, if a stick was above the crossbar and so on. But I can't stand the offside review. That was never a problem before. Now they are parsing the width of a skate blade. Let the linesman judge the spirit of the rule in the moment. If a guy is clearly offside it's obvious and if it requires five minutes of slow motion from six angles to figure it out, it's not worth stopping.

Reffing mistakes have always been a part of the game and as a team you just had to find a way to win. Kadri scored on a 1 v 2 against one of the best goalies in the world with a banged up hand. Cant blame the refs for McDonaugh and Sergachev turning into pylons on the play.

No one in the NHL cared when they had 7 guys on the ice and scored shorthanded in a 1-0 game 7 win in the conference finals last year. Now it’s a problem?

It's nuts to get a play right? So if there was a blown call is a previous game, then a blown call in a different game is okay? It's okay to have too many men on the ice if the player with the puck beats the opposition to the net? Not seeing the logic in any of your points.

MacKinnon is literally standing at the bench trying to open the door as Kadri accepts the pass

That happens 50x a game with no call made. Calling that would be the equivalent of getting a speeding ticket for doing 56 in a 55

There are seven Bolts players on the ice in this pic, with five players in position to backcheck and defend.

Not sure why some don't understand that on a player change, if the player going off is within that leeway area in the area near the bench with his replacement coming on, that is not too many men on the ice. Kadri is on the other side of the ice from the bench with the puck while the player he replaced is still on the ice. By rule that is too many men on the ice. That TB had players to defend or whether they got beaten on the play is irrelevant in terms of whether it was too many men on the ice.

This is the footage from the line change for the avs. Kadri jumped on the ice way before he should have and took a pass shortly after. Its clearly too many men.

The too many men rule is the dumbest rule in hockey. I don't care if there's six players on the ice if one of them are on their way to the bench and not involved in actual play.
