Personally I don't trust any report. All the reports before Rust resigned was that he was pretty much gone because he wanted 7 million a year and that we didn't have the money to resign him because Malkin and Letang were going to eat up all the money. Yet Rust resigned for a great price. I think they will resign Letang. I'm 50-50 on Malkin. I personally want him back, but I do think coaching wants a more defensively responsible player. I think Trocheck leads that charge maybe even Miller would be another player who is top on the list.

As a side note. I believe they are going to revamp the D this offseason. From the previous Ben Chiarot rumors during the trade deadline it makes me think the 2nd pairing will look a lot different this season.

I don’t get butthurt when fans and bloggers of other teams talk poop about the Oilers….but it’s hilarious when they make comments and it’s obvious they didn’t even watch the games. And then you morons just assume it’s true because it fits the narrative and repeat it yourself.
No wonder Trump was able to amass such a loyal following. 😂

So I have to admit, I wasn't a big fan of the syrup. The bitters are nice though.

Yeah, a little too sweet and it has this maple-ish flavor that I didn't love.

Yeah, on its own it’s fine and I’ll probably use it with baking or something, but too much for a cocktail for me.

I really do like the bitters though.

All the money ESPN/ABC have and the best they can do is freakin' Styx????? Band sucked when they were somewhat relevant, and I'm sure all the "new fans" the NHL are trying to attract are really digging a bad 44 year old song lol

Definitely, and so fitting that scum Perry loses the 3rd finals in a row. And only Sid could get mentions in another team's celebration interviews lol

Honestly, it's hard not to feel good for him. You saw the ovation he got from his team when he picked up the cup.

Hey I just saw Joan Jett, Poison, Def Leppard, and Motley Crue last night. Aside from Def Leppard, they were all fantastic. Nothing wrong with 80s rock.

Also, I thought a Pittsburgh fan would appreciate the use of Renegade.

And that, good sir, is where analytics fail. You cannot simply value a player based on a spreadsheet. Not that JMFJ is a potential HHOFer, but he obviously has value to his team that exceeds his xgf%.

I don't completely disagree with you, but COL was also such a dominant team that having a Jack Johnson didn't have a profound effect.

You can show yourself out now. Actually, the drum solo was one of the better parts of their set.

They just aren't aren't a "hard" sounding band like the others (Poison sounds way different live) so they felt out of place.

Well yes, they can shelter players easily due to how good the top-line players are and their depth. And not saying JMFJ isn't what we all said...just that he obviously brings a value that you can't measure or calculate.
