What assets would you give for him, in a rebuild that is? And if Wright is any good, you already have Suzuki and Wright with not much on the wings...

Also :

Big, strong and talented, he owns excellent offensive instincts and can play either center or wing.

still pretty sure that they will

Slav is just the flavor of the month. Wright has been number one for years.

well I think its mostly, was it worth it to give a first and a 3rd for a 3 rd center ?
- Xizord

Would you trade 27th and 92nd overall this year for Kirby Dach?

Because that's essentially what we're at right now.

I'm not saying he is not a good player or anything like that, but I would not ike to give the assets to get him eiher cause a) he won't come cheap and b) he's a UFA in two seasons anyway.

I think getting another first round pick or moving up in the draft is a better idea.

let's cross that bridge in 2024 when he is a UFA (if), until then it is a useless discussion.

only one member of the bicep club left and he is not making the final call, the HuGo tandem is in charge now. Let's give them some time, so far they've been pretty good.

Shane Wright is gonna look good in Red.

Hopefully there's some blue and white in there as well.

With all the roomers around Anderson....even Hughes talked about getting a lot of calls about him. Will he get moved at the draft...

I still think the 2nd overall is out of reach, but the 7th (Ottawa) or 13 th (NYI) might happen.

But most of the time, you only see draft picks being trade at the draft.

Maybe.

And if he's traded, it does make sense to want to "replace him" with Slaf.

But I want Wright god dammit.

No, it does not really make sense. Go with BPA. Don't overthink the pick.

don't discount Columbus also, they have 6th and 12th. Word is they would like him back.

I think Torts and Anderson got along pretty well. Torts loves Anderson so maybe Philty can be an option also
