only if he wants to

if he suddenly states that he'd like to be traded, then it's a whole new ball game

but, I have always gotten the impression that he loves it here

- jimbro83

I highly doubt he wants out and that Drury is that upset over one playoff series that he would even want to trade him. Hopefully next year he will have figured out how to play, playoff hockey, once he does I can see us competing for that Cup for the next 3-4 years!!

I dont see how the Rangers can sign a solid number 2 center with the Cap. I think they keep Copp and Vatrano and the others walk. Finding a taker for Nemeth is impossible although the Rangers did trade for Braun, so who knows.

Idk what anybody else thinks but it sure looked like too many men on the ice on the overtime goal last night! cooper is a Richard but I think he’s right.

Clearly Tampa is still feeling the effects of 9 days off before they played the Rangers!

Cooper just apologized, basically saying what we all know, that the neighborhood play for line changes is the only thing that works, because there are only two doors to the bench and it's always chaotic

if the Rangers cant trade Georgiev, they have until July 11th to qualify him or let him walk (same with Gauthier)

Team’s have until the later of June 25th or the first Monday after the NHL Entry Draft to submit Qualifying Offers. [Note: The 2022 NHL Entry Draft is scheduled for July 7, so the following Monday makes the deadline July 11.]

agreed, I definitely stand by my prediction that Rangers wont qualify him and will let him become a UFA

The only thing is if a team wants to talk to him before that deadline instead of bidding for him.

Initially I thought the deadline for qualifying the RFAs was before the draft. Now that it’s after the draft I have a little more hope that maybe they’ll get late round pick for Georgiev. Changing my mind a little

No way they are bringing him back.
I'd let Gauthier walk as well.

I'd be thrilled to get a pick for him before cutting him loose.

They could qualify him then trade him. Seems risky but it would keep him under control as an asset.

Gauthier I think they may bring back as cheap as possible. Don't know if he needs a qualifying offer or if he has arb rights?

Qualifying Georgiev and then trading him is too risky. Remember they need to qualify Georgiev at 2.75 mil. They could get stuck with him. That’s like having two Nemeths

Too risky being stuck with him. Drury wouldn't take that chance if he didn't intend to keep him.

Larry Brooks boycotted voting for the NHL awards because of the mask policy NHL put place for reporters talking to players after the playoff games

and now he is banned forever more from voting for awards
