Logan Cooley will drop to #5 and Philly will select the Pittsburgh kid out of spite to Penguins fans. mic-drop - greenyone
I like it...you got Philly at #5.
Your pick is due Thursday around 6:00pm.

Would anyone do Necas for Joker. LeBron is saying he's available for a young D man. |

Awesome Buff, nice job to get us rolling! |

Drafting the best goalie prospect in this draft makes sense at forty-whatever.
Should have drafted a goalie over Rosen.
Bjustead in ‘22!

Interesting.
I like Necas quite a bit.
I don't know that it makes a ton of sense for the Sabres to trade away an asset in a position of need in RhD and limited resources in the pipeline that would further weaken it for a 3C, especially when they have Cozens, Mitts and Krebs all competing for 2 and 3 C positions.
I dont think the value is there for the Sabres unless they have 2 or 3 other RhD's under consideration for acquisition.
Interesting, but probably not.

Pick your Primary and 2 Secondary Teams to select for. Teams must have 5 selections in between them.

Oh my god worst back-scrolling ever, thank god I didn't read any of the Clown vs. The Green Blur...
They are up against those other two for biggest homo-erotic love affair on Hockeybuzz, all-time. And right before our very eyes.
Do you all not realize? We are seeing History and we should appreciate it while it lasts, because Hank is going to do the Hanky Panky and turn himself around, have a quiet life, a handshake, some carbon monoxide (no alarms) and (no surprises)...
And we all know the blog will boil down into a nightly internet, web 1.0 keyboard gang-bang between Fitz, homie, Boss, DirtyDan and Ion while the rest of us pop in every now and then asking for the giant meteor...
Unless Eklund finds a new blogger...
This is absolute non-sense by any human standard. I think the lot of you should take self-imposed timeouts and do what la did and go and find your inner Brokeback Mountain in the literal mountains and learn how to act seriously.

I don’t know much. I guess whoever we draft I’ll convince myself to get behind but I am partial to geekie only because of his size and that alone. |

Hate to say this because it can be worked on, but he needs to work on his skating. Fabulous talent though |

Honestly picks 6-20 are a toss up.
I think there is a pretty defined top 5 this year (I would say top 6 with Savoie).
I honestly wouldn’t be surprised with any pick after that, although I think this draft is much better than the mainstream opinion.
Perhaps it lacks the star power of recent drafts, but I’m excited about who we will get at 9 or 16 regardless of the direction they ultimately decide to go in |

In case anyone is curious about the blogging situation I'll give you the update:
I've stepped back into the part-time role I wanted and I'm excited to continue posting on this more relaxed basis. Michael Ghofrani (former Sabres blogger) expressed interest in coming back aboard to contribute content and I relayed that to Eklund. No word yet on that.
I wish I had time to do this full-time, multiple times a week but I work a lot and live in a house that needs constant work so it's just not possible for me. I'm happy with where I'm at. |

That’s really good to hear. I’m glad it’s only a few weeks away. HB can get kinda rough in the off-season.

Always enjoy your blogs, but one thing that I think is very clear here is that the frequency isn't all that important, just don't be Garth. Weekly wouldn't bother me at all.
