Rydhal is a head scratcher still. Dude is 27 never played on North American style ice and we expect him to just jump in and contribute for a Stanley cup contender lol. Let’s let him play in the ahl first see if he can hack it - TPC
right? not sure why he's getting penciled in all of a sudden |

Happy Father's Day to all! - TommyGTrain
Hope all the dad's on here had a great weekend/day!!!
Spent mine at the diamonds for my daughter's 1st Select Team softball tourney of the season. The coach said all the girls would provide big hits for their father's. Mine stepped it up a little! She pitched a perfect game in the opener!! And then followed that performance up with a 1-hit shut out for the bronze medal! |

He played at the highest level overseas in Sweden. Has international experience. Not being asked to be a top-six forward. If he can't cut it, minimum risk, but love the upside |

I love Dach, but he was brutal last year and if Chicago expects a massive return because he was the third pick, walk away. Upside is still there but need to manage assets smartly. At least as an RFA without arb rights, low enough cap hit |

i didn't read the full article but the headline said that said the lightning aren't using it as an excuse, so i'm assuming the sports media is using it as an excuse just like ESPN used the whole rusty excuse. - Mtlca66
Need a good narrative to draw ratings for Game 3 tonight |

I have a feeling he must be a good on faceoffs but we cant seem to find the numbers on that
I mean center depth is as important a part of this off season as any, so he adds to that at the very least |

Servelli saying AZ is going to trade Crouse this off-season. Crouse and Kreider on the 3rd line would be dominant. Crouse is 6’4 215 and Kreider is 6’3 225. Add Dach at 6’4 200+ and that’s a huge line that can skate and score.

Laf Chytil Kravtsov
Kreider Dach Crouse
Blais Rydahl Goodrow
Kakko for Dach
Picks/prospects for Crouse - nyrangers9479
If for some reason Kakko was traded, it would have to be a similar move to this. One high end pick/prospect for another, and the rangers swapping a winger for a center. In the instance of Dach, I would think CHI would have to add but I really don’t know enough about him. I recall him having a great rookie season but then had an injury at the World Junior’s and have heard very little since.

I just don’t think it gets much closer than a 1 for 1 swap. Their numbers are almost identical, drafted 2/3 in the same draft, and both teams are rumored to be looking for a change. I don’t think CHI adds anything but who knows.
Kakko - 157 games 58 pts
Dach - 152 games 59 pts |

Not so hot on faceoffs. His brother was also drafted by Chicago. |

Trading either of them would be stupid for the respective teams. Nobody is giving up anything valuable for young guys that are .39ppg players just because they were high draft picks.
Maybe they get added into a bigger deal as a piece of the trade, but trading them by themselves will yield little in the the way of a return |

He can work on faceoffs. A lot of young players struggle with faceoffs and get considerably better as they get older. The rumors are out there that they would be open to moving him for the right deal and I think he’s exactly what we’re looking for. |

That’s y I think it makes sense they just get swapped 1 for 1. Change of scenery for both. |

Why would trading out one disappointing top-3 pick for another disappointing top-3 pick interest either team?
Not to mention Dach is a center, so I would imagine Chicago would want something extra since they're trading a kid that plays a significantly more important position. Maybe if Chicago was teeming with talented centers, but that's certainly not the case. |

He’d start out on the 3rd line and develop. U don’t think Kakko is a project? Him and Dach have identical numbers |
