Tough call, but Strome's stick pushed Talbot's pad out of the way.

pretty sure talbot was diving forward to cover that loose puck thus sliding his legs back. (frank)ing bs

It's a bad call but it should've never gotten to that point.

How is that not a good goal? What in the actual f*ck?! Ok so he called the goal off right away and then I was like ok Toronto is going to look at this and say guys that’s a good goal. I’m in disbelief. I don’t understand the consistency of the rule then. Same with the f*cking kick of the puck in the net.

Its just a matter of not being able to field 4 lines of NHL caliber hockey players.

Can’t win when only 2 of your lines score. Was secretly hoping we signed Evander Kane even though I absolutely hate him.

I see what you’re looking at but i don’t see much there to say that’s goalie interference. I see Talbot lunging forward with his legs going back already as Strome is getting pushed and hooked from behind and trying to play the puck. If you’re going to start calling that back every time then you might as well just make crease bigger and let the goalies be untouchable.

Yea it’s almost like a natural motion. If you lunge forward like that your legs can’t stay with they are on the ice like that. They are going to go backwards when you are on your stomach

No doubt the rangers need to add some more punch offensively. You can tell when they play against these teams that grind you along the boards and take away time and space we struggle offensively. It’s interesting because that’s when Goodrow is very noticeable and same for the 4th line. They took Panarin, and Mika out of the game and they have little to no impact tonight. On most nights that will end up with an L. Drury has a lot of work to do.

I said it over and over last year, lines need identity. The 3rd line has absolutely zero identity and the 4th line needs an upgrade from McKegg.

Well, Goodrow should be the LW on that line but has been used all over, not that the result is bad however its not a reassuring thing.

I've watched the replay several times now and still believe it was a terrible call. However, I think the excuse the league will make is that the on-ice ref ruled "No Goal" to justify their mistake. Sucks, but the team should have performed better the last 40 minutes of the game.
Really frustrating how inconsistent this team can play from one period to the next...

The lack of contribution from guys like Laf Kakko and Chytil are killing us. To a lesser extent, Gauthier/Hunt and so far none of the call Ups have stood out. Was expecting Barron to be a little more noticeable.

But again, look at whats around Barron… when he does get called up, its when theyre at their wits’ end which means hes got AHL guys around him.

Call ups Jones and Schneider have both looked GREAT!
The only forward that looked decent was Greco, but he only got the single game.

How would you guys feel about Rakell he's a FA and we are not going to resign him with the F we have coming in from San Diego.

He needs a change of scenery and a 3rd should do it.

My biggest gripe with Laf is he never wants the puck. Skilled players hold and create. He passes it off or dumps it every time.the org and the players themselves have to be accountable for Laf Kakko and chytl failures so far
