I literally just mentioned that today at work.

What a useless, unreliable POS. I always have the "Office Space" day dream where i take it out back, blast some gangster rap and beat the poop out of it with a bat!!

The scary thing is, you can spend $1000 or more on something like a DeLongi and they still have cheap plastic parts in them. The legit ones come in at a scary $2500.

holy poop, that's some expensive equipment. at some point you'd think they would've found easier/cheaper ways to make a good espresso.

bendecko vouches pretty hard for the mayorga brand. i haven't been able to try it yet but i'm gonna order it eventually.

Good call.

The best at home coffee imo is kicking horse Pacific Pipeline in a French press. Better than 99% of the coffee shops out there too. I buy it by the case whenever I go through Invermere.

i used to have a second hand nespresso machine. the little pixie one or whatever it was called. it lasted me years and it had already been used for a few years when it was given to me. i finally replaced it with the exact same type machine but made by delonghi. it lasted like 1 year.
