Hopefully they just need time to develop. It's a very solid top 9 on paper, especially when you add the top 5 pick from this year, along with Rosen and a russian or two. Just need two guys to hit their ceiling instead of their floor. Not to mention, you can have a little less upfront when you have Dahlin or Power on the ice for 45+ minutes a night.

He will be 30 going into next season, it would take an overpay by money and term to get him here I think. He's been pretty healthy his entire career.

I would do a 5 year $35 million $7 million per contract for him.

I don't know if that's enough to entice him to come here though.

He is a major point producing defensemen, I don't know how him and Dahlin would mesh but as a Swede it could help.

The Sabres can easily afford him cap wise.
