They have a building complex downtown, near the harbor, and absolutely refuse to invest anything into the city's infrastructure, public education, or business sectors.

I can drop a piece of gold in a pile of cow poop, it's still surrounded by poope. No one is going to want to walk through a field of cow poop for a nugget of gold. Someone who will invest in the city with which his professional sports team resides.

However, I am of the belief that the Heritage Classic is in Hamilton, as a Sabres home game, to showcase them to the city of Hamilton and prospective buyers.

I am not convinced the Buffalo Sabres don't get sold and relocated to Quebec or Hamilton by the end of the decade if this ship doesn't right itself by next year.
