OK I just watched the entire sequence again. First Eric Haula easily bumped Sanheim off the puck in the right corner and got the puck to the point (bad play 1). A shot went wide and up the left boards where Cates should have easily been able to get the puck and carry it out, but instead got his pocket picked by Pastrnak (bad play 2) which caused the puck to come back to Laughton, who threw a sloppy pass over to Sanheim (bad play 3) which caromed off the boards past Sanheim to a Bruins forward who passed across to a wide open Pastrnak in the high slot for the shot and goal. So though I think Laughton and Cates were both more liable for that goal, I didn't think Sanheim played very were there either. - jd250
This sequence is the awesomeness of rinse and repeat!!
It seems like you are okay with on their face stupid decisions at the time that are confirmed to be wrong with each passing year. If so, you should be fine with anything they do.

Sure. That is a sensible takeaway from my comments. I see that
Get what? Get that Yeo has been part of a coaching staff that didn't improve anything in a season and a half and hasn't improved anything since taking over.
This team doesn't need to just change coaches. It needs to purge the entire hockey department including any influence coming from alumni and bring in someone in touch with the modern day NHL.
The players must be fired is a ridiculous statement. Can't happen and won't happen. Now you're using the rhetoric of fools. - MJL
You are totally blowing the alumni issue out of proportion. Also they had no influence on hextalls moves. That was all Ronnie

Before that stupid pass by Laughton, Sanheim got easily bumped off the puck in the left corner allowing the Bruin forward to gain possession. And there is a big difference when the puck bounces off a curved board in the corner versus a straight board along the blue line. - jd250
Where does this phantom bump off happen?
It was a lazy pass by Laughton that was no where near Sanheim. No one touches Sanhiem and the puck bounces right to the Bruin player. Not sure what you were watching.

After a decade of poor play, poor coaching and horrid management, it’s really getting hard to give a damn about this team.
Hey Crapcast, either completely clean house from top to bottom or sell the friggin team. A decade of incompetence is enough already! - BiggE
Dave Scott came out of retirement to take the job. Maybe he'll be tempted to go back into retirement before trying to sort out this mess. Of course, the Flyers are only part of his responsibilities. Maybe the Overwatch League is what gets him up in the morning.
This right here is what we should be focusing on. This is a KEY problem. - FlyguyHI
Here is why. From a previous post.
This is what the HB amatuer GM's don't see that declare Frost will never be anything in the NHL after 39 games.
Even worse, here is what the Flyers continue to do with young players and why they completely suck at developing players. They put a player in the lineup and let him play for a little bit and then when they see a player struggle in an area of a game, they sit him down, show him video. Maybe scratch him or demote him in the lineup. Works really good! Instead of what they should be doing, which is instead of having tunnel vision on trying to win in what is obviously a lost season. Let's invest in a young player and put a skilled young player with some of the skilled players on the team. Last night in the game at 5 on 5, Frost played with Atkinson for 12 seconds. Played with JVR for 33 seconds. Farabee 31 seconds. Konecny 9 seconds. Giroux zero! So you have a player that is struggling in some areas and instead of giving him more support in a better situation to help him get going. They play him in a situation that is not conducive to his development. The Flyers do this constantly. They are bonehead idiots when it comes to developing young players. They are specialists at ruining young players.

There were a lot of people skeptical that Frost would be a good player at the draft. His pace of play has always been questioned. Don't make it sound like he should be the 2nd coming of crosby, but the team has let him down. Sometimes the team is at fault, yes. But i think this is you trying to protect Ronnies picks as usual. Maybe the truth is somewhere in the middle with Frost.
