Yeah...I feel he's going to help a team a lot. Probably realizes he's not going to get many more chances to make the millions in this league. If he comes in on a cheap remainder of the season deal, produces like he can and acts like a decent human being he'll get another big contract in offseason most likely.

He won’t be a net positive imo. Even if he can pretend to be a decent person for a few months he will be a distraction.

hahaha perhaps.

Most of my time spent here is weekday mornings just kind of talking to myself, usually haha....during games I'll usually drop some "fvck yeahs!" or other random comments.

They’re just touching base. I would be surprised if he gets many actual offers.

I tend to agree with this. Too much Baggage. (frank) it let the Pens sign Kane and bring back AB for one more Stiller's run lmfao

I won't be surprised at all. No long-term commitment will allow teams no real risk. I 100% believe every playoff-bound team will be after him. Tampa, WSH, Pens, Boston, etc...

EDIT: That is if he's going to sign a $1M contract wherever he winds up. If he is somehow looking for a bigger payday then he'll have nobody in the race.

That's the thing. Teams will bank on him being on his best behavior for just a few months and can then let him walk, or bury him if he acts up.

I can see a desperate team like an Edmonton make a play for him. Veteran locker rooms won’t want that POS around.

Holland had a press conference to say they have been talking. Basically waiting for his grievance to play out.

Kane would fit right in on Washington and that would really suck. I’d take him for the remainder of the year.

He'd make our forward depth insane.

You and I are very much on the same page on this jabroni. I'm just trying to make the point that teams are in a position where they likely wouldn't have to move anyone of weight out of the lineup to pick him up and will likely risk his antics for $1M. If he costs $1M and all a team has to do is send some call-up to the taxi squad, they're probably going to do it.

Overall I dont want anything to do with him....even still, the guy can be quite impactful on the ice...and most of us having been saying we'd love one more scoring winger....if....big IF he could be a decent human being then its a no brainer to me, especially coming in around a mill (prorated), if he really does go that cheap...he could get more...he might want more and go with highest bidder.

Put him next to McJesus and/or Dries? Look out.

Yeah I’m thinking more of teams being no gos for the “Geno ruined the chemistry” factor Kane brings to the table.

Or imagine this:

Kane - ? - T. Wilson

Yikes

I would absolutely sin him for the rest of the year. That lineup you posted looked pretty damn good.

Kane would be on the 3rd line and relegated to the 2nd PP unit in Washington.

Yea, you'd have to be actually mental to even give him an opportunity at any price. It is really a guaranteed net negative.

Geno does like playing scumbags. Neal was his bestie.

Because when Geno passed Neal the puck he (frank)ing scored a lot. The Geno faceoff win to Neal was probably the best duo to do that the NHL ever seen, they were so consistent and teams knew it was coming too lol
