I found out on the weekend a friend of mine's older brother turned 40 in July and decided he wanted to get in shape to play with his kids...so he started taking a full steroid/hormone protocol but didn't start working out...he's puffy and fat as (frank) now plus he may have some issues with his kidney. Edit: I mean the draft this year is in MTL, they had to know this team was gonna crash... Why not keep the picks to generate some excitement at the draft? I'm a believer in a lot of sports (football, mma, pretty much 98% of the Olympics) have figured out protocols to dope if they want to dope without being caught...so it'd at least create a level playing field.

Frankly they'd probably be more useful in injury recovery and rehab but if it's legalized then real doctors can provide safer protocols and share information rather than it all being underground and dangerous. There isn't really a good answer for it and who decides what makes a product allowed like creatine vs disallowed is pretty arbitrary anyway
