Pens looked gassed at times in that 3rd... however, fvck yeah, got it done.

Puck support on this team is sublime. Might be the most disciplined team we've seen since the last cup team.

Islanders are now 12 points behind Pens...with 3 games in hand of course but its still a bit crazy they're that far down.

Jarry was incredible again, but is anyone else worried that he's on pace to play 69 games and he's never played more than 49 as a pro?

That last cup team was stomped on and outplayed heavily for 3 of the 4 series to get it done...crazy opportunistic scoring and elite goaltending got it done that year. The team this season is closer to 2016 to my eyes. IMO they've only deserved to lose 2, maybe 3 games so far..

Yes, big time. This seemed like a good game to give him some rest but we ended up needing him. But I guess Montreal is a similarly bad team and not in our division. Still I'd like to see Jarry get more rest.

Did anyone think Rust would be a difference maker when he was in the minors? Or that Guentzel would be near this good? If anything they are examples of guys who became better NHL players then they were considered as prospects.

I was just looking at the 2013 draft, there are only 8 players still playing in the NHL from that draft and we have 2... Jarry and Guentzel

I wouldn't trust your source for this information. I just looked at it also and it seems there are quite a few guys playing. Nearly everyone selected in the first round is playing.
