Fist and foremost and .more important than anything I write, is to give thankfulness to Theo for bis outstanding job. Your coverage and analysis is spot on. I am in the crowd whom appreciates your analysis of the Icehogs too. Sweet spot to go to see how Blackhawks performed as well Rockford players are faring - lots of hockey. Watching by you.

Alright....after the better individual and team defense since King took the reigns, I re-visit the thoughts previously discussed regarding trades

I don't anticipate any, and I don't really want to see anything other than veterans moved at trade deadline. You may think it is time maybe after the season to trade Kane and Toews. No way for several reasons

Age, wear and tear, and value are the red flags for teams to want Toews. His leadership. No way you are trading for that. Toews even playing more than a version of #2 and #3 center, is not going to be for long. Whether he comes back better than the health issues he has in the early stage of this season, is practicly a moot point. Because will he want to play after his contract ends. For how much and is the amount satisfy the owner and the player? You Won't receive anything better than him. For a #3 round. Please just let him finish as a lifelong Blackhawk. And beside, does he have enthusiasm to play for another team?

Kane in shape, not I Jared, and motivated. It could come together. But we need a top CENTER so that both the center and Kane see offensive success coming. Cmon' Kane has a couple or more big point seasons in him if his team compliments one of the top premiere players in Kane. Going to.need a good center extracted from the draft. Otherwise I don't expect a trade for a center for Kane. Perhaps ⁷, Kubalik even Kurashev for an equally talented center. Dream of Murphy and Kubalik for a prospect center....where else, how else do you land a center. If we have our #1 2022, this center we .ight be in position to draft (or not draft) is NHL ready, developed in two years or more. The 2023 #1 is so far away to even contemplate

The dynamic duo is Kane and DeBrincat but they are not nearly as potent if either is traded.

Who wants to go forward without either Toews or Kane. Not myself. I want to win with young guys moving in but not to replace them. I am certain that Davidson realizes his team is not getting the best Kane can give. I don't know how he can consider trading Kane or Toews. I will give Davidson credit for not being a dumb cookie. Neither is traded

I just saw the Nick Saban speech where he lambasts Alabama fans for not being thankful for wins, they expect all the games to be blowouts. Could have used this speech for some Hawk fans from 2010-2016 where they expected to win every game 10-0 and have 74 hits and 26 fights each game.

Although the Jackets most likely will get the Hawks first round pick, it is never to early to see where we stand for the Bettman Cup (1st overall draft pick).

1) Yotes 0.500 pts per game
2) Sens 0.529
3) Canadiens 0.571
4) Kraken 0.684
5) Canucks 0.700
6) Hawks 0.737
7) Islanders 0.750
8) Sabres 0.842
9) Kings 1.000
10) Stars 1.059
